Room was clean.
Pool and hot tub were dirty.
There was someone working on their car in the parking lot when I left. Property was full and there was noise from neighbors until after midnight.
Breakfast was typical.

Room was not the most pleasant smelling. But I did leave my AirPods in the room and the staff did call me before I got too far. Which I’m grateful for.

On the website it listed having a in ground pool but it doesn't now it has been filled in and has plants . Also listed free breakfast, when we arrived to the hotel no setup for breakfast. No coffee maker in the rooms . Also the pillow cases had dirty stains , also no towel hooks in the bathroom .

Great place - great location!
"It is a lovely place to stay, right by Cap Rock Canyon. Close to town, and yet peacefully in the country. If I am ever in this neck of the woods again, I would definitely stay here! The gas fireplace is a wonderful touch."
